This helmet is based on a find from Niedermörmter (Rhineland, Germany). Compared to the earlier 'Weisenau' models, its neck guard is particularly long - a response to the\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca rel=\"follow\" class=\"internal-link\" title=\"weapons\" href=\"https:\/\/www.battlemerchant.com\/en\/weapons\/\"\u003eweapons\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eused by the opponents of the time. The original's missing cheek guards were reconstructed following diligent research.
